Pulley Diameter: The size of the pulley diameter affects the bending stress, transmission ratio, and transmission efficiency of the belt. Generally speaking, the larger the pulley diameter, the smaller the bending stress of the belt, but the size of the transmission device will also increase accordingly. During design, the appropriate pulley diameter should be selected based on factors such as belt type, transmission power, and speed.

Pulley Width: The pulley width should match the width of the belt to ensure sufficient contact area between the belt and the pulley to transmit sufficient power. At the same time, the pulley width should also consider the installation and adjustment margin of the belt.
Precision Design
Radial and End Face Runout of the Pulley: These precision indicators affect the stability and service life of the belt drive. If the radial and end face runout of the pulley is too large, it will cause vibration and jumping during the operation of the belt, accelerating belt wear and reducing transmission efficiency. Therefore, reasonable precision grades need to be specified during design, and strict quality control should be carried out during manufacturing.
Surface Quality Design
Surface Roughness of the Pulley: The surface roughness of the pulley affects the friction coefficient between the belt and the pulley. If the surface roughness is too large, it will increase belt wear; if the surface roughness is too small, it may lead to insufficient friction between the belt and the pulley, resulting in slippage. Generally speaking, the surface roughness of the pulley should be reasonably selected according to the type of belt and usage requirements.
